Youth clubs and groups
Youth club
We run a youth club once a month for adopted young people aged 10 - 16 years.
The youth club is a great space to:
engage in activities with other adopted young people
make new friends and connections
relax and have some chill out time
enjoy some food and drink.
We’d love to know what young people want for their youth club, so welcome their ideas on how to make the youth club even better. Come along to our next group, we’ll be meeting between 4 - 6pm in Milton Keynes on:
19 January 2026
23 February 2026
16 March 2026
If you would like to attend, please contact us to secure your spot. We will provide venue details and information on the required risk assessment that will need to be completed.
ConnectTeens
Held every half term
Our ConnectTeens is a small group of young people aged 14 – 18 years who have experienced adoption. They meet up every six weeks.
We want young people to shape our service and provide a valuable contribution to how this is delivered. ConnectTeens are involved in activities such as writing articles for our newsletter, contributing to the design and development of services, supporting the preparation of prospective adopters, providing peer support and developing a blog. They also have lots of fun together in activities, providing peer support and a safe space to share experiences.
If you have a young person who would be interested in being a member of the group, drop us a message for more information.
Events for families
For all adopted families, including those with younger children, we hold events throughout the year where young people can come together, along with their families, to connect and have fun.
Events for young people with SEND
For young people with special educational needs and disabilities, the Local Offer hold events and provides advice and resources. You find out more through the Central Bedfordshire SEND Local Offer and the Milton Keynes City Council SEND Local Offer websites.
