Youth clubs and groups
Youth club
We run a youth club once a month for adopted young people aged 10 - 16 years.
The youth club is a great space to:
engage in activities with other adopted young people
make new friends and connections
relax and have some chill out time
enjoy some food and drink.
We’d love to know what young people want for their youth club, so welcome their ideas on how to make the youth club even better. Come along to our next group, we’ll be meeting between 4 - 6pm in Milton Keynes on:

ConnectTeens
Held every school holiday
ConnectTeens is a small group of young people aged 14 - 17 years who have experienced adoption. The group meets during each school holiday for around 2.5 hours, offering a mix of fun activities, shared food, and opportunities to build friendships in a relaxed, supportive space.
We want young people to help shape our service and have a meaningful voice in how it develops. ConnectTeens members get involved in a range of activities such as reviewing and helping redesign our resources, creating content used in the training of prospective adopters and developing questions for our adoption panel. Each session also gives plenty of time to have fun together and share experiences with peers who understand.
If you have a young person who would be interested in being a member of the group, drop us a message for more information.
Events for families
For all adopted families, including those with younger children, we hold events throughout the year where young people can come together, along with their families, to connect and have fun.
Events for young people with SEND
For young people with special educational needs and disabilities, the Local Offer hold events and provides advice and resources. You find out more through the Central Bedfordshire SEND Local Offer and the Milton Keynes City Council SEND Local Offer websites.
