Adoption Connects is proud to support this years National Adoption Week (14 - 20 October) which is focussed on finding adopters for children who wait the longest for an adoptive family.

Nationally there is an urgent need for more adopters and in Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes we are seeking families who can provide a loving, secure and stable future for:

  • brothers and sisters

  • children from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds

  • older children

  • children with complex needs

  • children who may/have a disability

Who can adopt?

Almost anyone can adopt and we welcome everyone who has an interest in adopting to give us a call on 0300 300 8090.

Adoption is open to both single people and couples and we welcome enquiries from:

  • the LGBT+ community

  • people from all ethnic origins and religions

  • people and families who do not have children of their own

  • people and families who do have children of their own

“Adoption enables something wonderful; giving kids a chance of a forever family and creating very proud parents. We never thought we would have a family of our own, but we have with the support of Adoption Connects. We can’t thank you enough for helping us to build our family. “
